Some things to help you on your kink journey

AU$12 per 8 metre hank

AU$15 per 10 metre hank

Comes in hard lay and soft lay

Our rope is sourced from Tokyo (Ogawa). It is 6mm diameter and  natural in color. It is most commonly used in Japanese style rope bondage.

Soft lay rope, sometimes called asanawa style, is most often used in Japan. It is said to feel softer on the skin.  Hard lay rope is more durable, with a tighter weave to the rope. It is less likely to be damaged in use and is said to feel like a tigher 'grip' on the skin; some people like to use hard lay for uplines.

Jute is a natural fiber and ours comes untreated to reduce costs, but we provide a guide to help you treat your own rope at home. Click here for our rope treatment guide.

An important part of safety when doing rope bondage/shibari is discarding rope when it is worn out. Unfortunately rope is often expensive, making people hesitant to throw it away. To assist with safety we choose to supply top quality rope at a price that encourages you to replace it when you should.

Safety Shears for Shibari Kinbaku Bondage

AU$9 for safety shears.

Whenever participating in rope bondage it is important to have shears accessible. Shears allow you to cut rope off someone in the event of an emergency. They are shaped so as not to cut the skin.

Our shears should be considered disposable, the same as most shears. After a few uses the shears will slowly blunt and will be difficult to use in an emergency. So if you ever use your shears we recommend replacing them.

The shears are black and have a clip so you can keep them convenient.

We have sourced high quality Jojoba Oil to help you treat your ropes. Jojoba is a low oxidising oil perfect for keeping your ropes soft . Oiling your ropes can prevent the natural fibers from drying out and becoming more brittle. Regular treatment can increase the life of your ropes. This much oil should be enough to treat (or re-treat) approximately 20 ropes, depending on how much you use them.

You can see how to use the Jojoba Oil in our rope treatment guide.
